When Ford developed the Ranger Super Duty, they didn't just strengthen a ute - they engineered a platform designed to take on the toughest work fleets can throw at it.
But the vehicle is only half the story.
The difference between a strong ute and a reliable fleet asset often comes down to how it's delivered and prepared for the job.
At Motorama Ford, that's what we focus on. Every day a vehicle sits waiting for fit-out or service is a day it's not earning.
Our goal is simple - get your vehicles working faster, safer, and longer.
The Ranger Super Duty proves what happens when manufacturer engineering and local fleet preparation work together.
Ford has given the Super Duty serious numbers: a 4.5-tonne GVM, 4.5-tonne towing capacity, and a combined 8-tonne GCM - all within car licence limits. That matters to fleets balancing payload and compliance without needing truck-licence drivers.
Underneath, it's almost a new truck. Around 70% of its underbody components are new, including heavier axles, eight-stud hubs, and a 25% more efficient cooling system. Ford tested it with 24-hour full-payload track runs, 600 kg mud endurance tests, and steep Brown Mountain towing cycles - the kind of validation that matters when your vehicles spend more time on the job than in the workshop.
That's the vehicle side.
Motorama Ford handles the deployment side.
At our dedicated Pre-Delivery Centre, we process and deliver over 1,100 vehicles every month - from single-vehicle builds to large fleet rollouts. A straightforward build that doesn't require extensive external work is typically completed in around two weeks from arrival to handover. Larger, more complex builds can take longer, but we manage them end-to-end to keep everything on track.
Over recent years, insourcing has been a major focus, allowing us to complete more of the fit-out process in-house. We still collaborate with trusted external partners when specialist work is required, but keeping more control internally means shorter lead times and better consistency across every vehicle.
Fleet vehicles need to be ready for work the moment they're handed over. That's why our pre-delivery team handles a wide range of fit-outs and accessories before delivery, using both genuine Ford and approved aftermarket parts, with a roughly 60/40 split across fleet builds.
Our strong affiliation with ARB has seen Genuine Accessory sales grow substantially, especially on high-volume fleet contracts. A good example is Queensland Police Service (QPS) vehicles, where we install Genuine Ford bullbars, lightbars, and dual-battery systems, along with an aftermarket canopy suited to their specific operational needs.
Every accessory, genuine or aftermarket, is fitted and tested to meet safety and performance standards. Genuine Ford parts go through ADR-compliant validation, keeping warranty coverage fully intact. Aftermarket products follow Motorama's internal Quality Control process, where our team checks every fitment, wiring connection, and system integration before the vehicle leaves the facility.
Our Quality Control team is trained to verify that every accessory works as intended, matches OE standards, and is safely integrated with the vehicle's electronics and safety systems. Once complete, every build is signed off before delivery.
By completing most installations on-site, we can save fleet customers up to a week of downtime compared to sending vehicles to multiple third-party installers. That's time vehicles stay working - not waiting.
When an installation requires outsourcing, we work closely with highly trusted & experienced local suppliers that supports many of our aftermarket fit-outs and provides excellent warranty and technical backup when needed.

Downtime is expensive. Every hour a vehicle is out of service affects productivity, scheduling, and operating costs. That's why our entire process from pre-delivery to servicing is built around reducing it.
Our mining and resources customers see some of the clearest benefits. These vehicles face harsh conditions, so reducing dwell time before deployment is critical. Our team's combined skill across parts, accessory fitting, detailing, and decal work means vehicles can be turned around faster without compromising on build quality or compliance.
We also standardise fleet builds, so every technician follows the same install procedures and quality benchmarks. The result is consistent, repeatable outcomes - whether it's one vehicle or one hundred.
Motorama's Fleet Finance team works directly with businesses and procurement officers to make sure finance solutions align with operational goals.
We offer options including chattel mortgage, operating lease, and novated lease, each matched to different ownership and cash-flow needs.
For businesses that prefer certainty, our Guaranteed Exit Price offer gives you the confidence of knowing your vehicle's future value before it even hits the road.
It helps fleets plan replacement cycles and manage total cost of ownership with clarity - no surprises, just predictable budgeting.
The Ranger Super Duty was designed for the same industries we work with every day - mining, construction, utilities, agriculture, and emergency services.
Across South-East Queensland, Motorama Ford supports fleets operating in city, regional, and remote conditions. Our local understanding of climate, terrain, and compliance demands helps us prepare vehicles that perform reliably from day one.
Our integrated pre-delivery model consistently delivers:
These aren't assumptions - they're the daily results of how our pre-delivery centre and fleet teams operate.
With the Ranger Super Duty due to arrive in December 2025, Motorama Ford is already planning build schedules for fleet clients who want early delivery timing.
Initial demand is expected around single- and super-cab chassis models, with most fleets fitting trays and service bodies. Standard fit-out lead times typically range from three to five weeks, depending on accessory complexity.
Our Fleet Readiness Program helps organisations map configurations, accessory weights, and finance options now, so vehicles arrive work-ready - not waiting in line for post-delivery modifications.
To get started, procurement teams can book a short planning session with our Fleet Specialists.
Ford built the Ranger Super Duty to carry more, tow more, and last longer.
Motorama Ford built the systems to make sure it does all that from day one.
