Introducing the Motorama Community Partnership Program and its first Recipients

Following the opening of Motorama’s brand new hub in Browns Plains, the Motorama Community Partnership Program has been launched. This program focuses on supporting the local Hillcrest & Browns Plains community groups and charities that do so much for our local community, but often struggle with fundraising initiatives.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Every customer that services their vehicle or purchases a vehicle from Motorama Browns Plains are eligible to vote for one of the nominated community groups by placing a token in their preferred community group. The group with the most tokens at the end of the period will receive the largest share of the $2500 Motorama Community Partner Program funding. TheBARN Animal Rescue, PCYC Crestmead, and the Logan West Meals on Wheelswere the first nominee’s in Motorama’s Community Partnership Program.

THE RECIPIENTS

$250 Community Funds

Running youth programs are highly rewarding but can be an expensive undertaking.

PCYC Crestmead approached Motorama to use the program to help raise funding to continue an Australian first they pioneered – Blue Light Disco’s for hearing impaired children.  The funding will go along way toward making the next event bigger then ever!

$750 Community Funds​

The BARN Animal Rescue, a non-profit wildlife care organization, are dedicated to returning injured or orphaned native wildlife in a much healthier state than they came in.   Their funding will be put towards the on going costs to run BARN.

$1500 Community Funds

The most voted community group was the Logan West Meals on Wheels.

The Logan West organisation is one of the last meals on wheels groups to make all of their meals from scratch, meaning a real ‘home cooked’ meal is still a reality for its customers. We genuinely hope that ALL these funds will contribute to the on-going viability and success of these vital local community groups.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
