We supply UHF radios so we can maintain communication with you throughout the tour. The 4x4xMORE crew use Channel 54. Please ensure you return the UHF radio to a 4x4xMORE team member at the end of the tour.
Radio Etiquette
Please be mindful when handling the UHF that you do not inadvertently press the talking button. The operation of UHF radios only allows for one person to be broadcasting at a time, so if you're unknowingly broadcasting your radio, our trip leaders cannot communicate with the rest of the tour group.
Place your radio in a handy spot for all passengers to hear the commentary.
UHF radios are the best form of communication between tag-along tour vehicles.
Please be aware that due to hills, tree and your proximity to the lead vehicle, radio reception will be lost or patchy at times.
