    To help ensure a more personalised and fun experience, we have split the trip into 3 groups.

    Please note your group colour and stay with them for each group activity over the weekend.

    Please ensure your car has a full tank of fuel.

    Tag-Along Tours are subject to wet weather, track access, and track conditions.
    Trip changes/cancellations are made at the discretion of Motorama 4x4xMORE Trip Leaders considering guest safety and trip feasibility.
    We always aim to provide the best experience available in light of these limitations.
    Any changes will be communicated to guests in a timely manner.

    SCHEDULE

    Friday 7th

    From 12PMARRIVAL / SET UP: Feel free to arrive at your leisure and set up for the weekend. 
    CHECK-IN – Please ensure you check in on arrival with the NCBR office. The main office closes at 5PM. If arriving after 5PM, please stop at the “late arrivals information stand” situated beside office car park to retrieve map and then proceed to Area B where all 4x4xMORE attendees will be camping. 
    NOTE: Neurum Creek Bush Retreat asks that all guests arrive by no later than 8:30PM as to not disturb other campers at the retreat.
    6PMWELCOME BBQ – Meet the Motorama 4x4xMORE Team for a complimentary Sausage Sizzle. You will meet your Trip Leader, informed of your tag-along group, and be briefed on the next morning's trip.


    Saturday 8th

    Our Saturday schedule will have us out from the campgrounds for the entirety of the day. We will be running two tag-along tours on Saturday with downtime in between to eat lunch and re-energise.

    Please ensure you bring lunch, snacks and water for all occupants in your vehicle, or make plans to head into the centre of town to grab a bite to eat.

    We will be finishing the morning tag-along tours at the Woodford Showgrounds and departing for the afternoon tag-along tours from the showgrounds as well.

    If you wish to make your own plans for the afternoon, make sure to inform your trip leader that you won't be participating for the afternoon trip. If you wish to spend the morning doing your own thing but wish to join the afternoon trip, make sure to let your trip leader know and make yourself available at the showgrounds on time.

    The Woodford Showgrounds are located on Neurum Road just off the D'Aguilar Highway on the northern end of the centre of town. The address is 38 Neurum Road, Woodford QLD 4514.

    Tag-Along Tours
    From 8:00AMLine up for Tag-Along Tours along the edge of the driveway between Area A and Area B.
    Listen for horn. Please refrain from lining up until the previous group have departed, or blocking the driveway from other campers.
    RED GROUP: Line up at 8:00AM for 8:15AM departure
    YELLOW GROUP: Line up at 8:15AM for 8:30AM departure
    GREEN GROUP: Line up at 8:30AM for 8:45AM departure
    ~12:00PM to 1:00PMMorning tag-along tours will finish at Woodford Showgrounds.
    Enjoy your lunch at the showgrounds or drop into the centre of town for a bite to eat.
    Reconvene at the showgrounds for your afternoon tag-along tour. 
    From 1:00PMRED GROUP: Line up at 1:00PM for 1:15PM departure
    YELLOW GROUP: Line up at 1:15PM for 1:30PM departure
    GREEN GROUP: Line up at 1:30PM for 1:45PM departure
    Evening Activities
    From 5:00PMFireside chats, live music, outdoor games, kids’ outback movies, prize giveaways.
    6:30PMDinner to be served - including roast meat and dessert.
    9:00PMWind down.

    Sunday 9th

    Tag-Along Tours
    From 8:45AMLine up for Tag-Along Tours along the edge of the driveway between Area A and Area B.

    1:00PMWeekend wraps up.

    How to get to Neurum Creek Bush Retreat

    Neurum Creek Bush Retreat is located at 268 Rasmussen Rd, Neurum QLD 4514 - click the button for Google Maps directions or follow the instructions below.

    • If you're coming from Brisbane, make your way onto the Bruce Highway (M1) heading northbound.
    • Drive until you reach the Caboolture area, then take Exit 152B for State Route 85 (D'Aguilar Highway) towards Kilcoy.
    • Continue along D'Aguilar Highway for ~26km until you reach Woodford.
    • Drive through the centre of Woodford and turn left onto Neurum Road.
    • Continue on Neurum Road for ~9km then turn left onto Stanton Road.
    • Continue on Stanton Road for ~2.5km then turn right onto Rasmussen Road.
    • Continue on Rasmussen Road for another ~2.5km, then once you cross Neurum Creek, the entrance to the campgrounds will be on your right.
    • NOTE: 4WD is not required to access the campgrounds.

    Campsite Facilities and Essentials

    • Firewood will be provided - no need to bring your own.
    • Hot water showers and toilets are available on site.
    • Mobile reception is generally reliable at Neurum Creek Bush Retreat, but there will be no service during Tag-Along Tours.
    • Rubbish: please ensure you remove all rubbish before leaving.
    • Pets: Neurum Creek is pet friendly - keep dogs on a lead and clean up after them.
    • Make sure to check out the Neurum Creek Bush Retreat website for all available facilities and activities. The campground features over a kilometre of creek frontage and great swimming holes, so bring your swimmers!
    • Bikes are welcome - there's a kids BMX track onsite.

    Power & Equipment

    • If you're staying on an unpowered site, bring your own power (solar, battery) or charge devices before arrival.
    • Tables and chairs will be set up under the marquee for group meals.
    • If you want to sit back by the campfire, bring your own camp chair.

    Meals & Catering

    • Breakfasts and lunches are self-catered - bring snacks and plenty of water for the Tag-Along Tours.
    • Friday night: Complimentary sausage sizzle (BYO drinks).
    • Saturday night: Roast meal with dessert (BYO drinks).

    Driving, Gear & Safety

    • Driving within the campground: Please take extreme care when moving around, as there will be many guests, tents, and caravans spread throughout.
    • If you're walking, be mindful of vehicles using internal roads and driveways.
    • If you're staying offsite, please arrive promptly each morning for your Tag-Along Tour departure.
    • You're welcome to bring your own 4WD gear such as recovery tracks or a UHF radio.
    • We'll provide all necessary recovery gear regardless.
    • If you have a UHF radio, we strongly recommend bringing it - it's very useful on the tracks.
    • We will supply some radios, but numbers are very limited.

    Schedule & Participation

    • You're under no obligation to follow the full event schedule - you're welcome to participate in as many or as few activities as you like. Just let a Trip Leader know your plans in advance so we can keep track of everyone's whereabouts.

    Items We Recommend Bringing

    • Comfortable, enclosed footwear
    • Warm outerwear (just in case it gets cool in the evening)
    • Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and insect repellent
    • Swimmers and towel
    • Rain jacket or poncho (bush weather can surprise you).
    • Esky w/ ice, or portable fridge
    • Plates, bowls, cups, and eating utensils.
    • Evening drinks
    • Bottled water (also available at main office but supply may be limited)
    • Camp chairs
    • Torches, headlamps or lanterns
    • Extension leads (if you have a powered site)
    • Marshmallows (for the campfire, of course!)
    • Not required but helpful to have your own for 4WDing:
    • Bikes (especially the kids!)
    • Leash, food and poop bags (if you're bringing your pups)

    Tag-Along Tours & Weather

    • Tag-Along Tours: Weather, track conditions, or access may affect groupings and timings. Adjustments are made at the Trip Leaders' discretion to ensure safety and the best experience possible. Any changes will be communicated to all guests.
    • Wet weather: The weekend will proceed rain or shine. Alternative activities will be organised if tours need to be cancelled due to conditions.

    Tag-Along Tour Information

    Pre-Tag-Along Checklist

    All Tag-Along Tours are optional - if you're not feeling confident or simply prefer to relax at camp, you're welcome to skip a trip. If you are joining, make sure you're fully prepared with the following:

    Before You Leave:
    • Stay with your assigned Tag-Along Group at all times.
    • Display your coloured sticker clearly on the front windscreen.
    • Deflate tyres to the pressure instructed by your Trip Leader.
    • Bring a UHF radio if you have one (recommended, but not essential).
    What to Pack in Your Vehicle:
    • Suitable footwear (sturdy shoes - no thongs).
    • Drinking water for everyone in the car.
    • Warm jumper and/or rain or spray jacket.
    • Mobile phone and torch or headlamp.
    • Any medication you may need.
    Before Leaving Your Campsite:
    • Close or zip up tent/caravan windows.
    • Fold or secure your awning.
    • Pack away clothes, towels, or loose items left outside.
    Important Reminders:
    • If you have a medical condition that the team should be aware of, let your Trip Leader know before departure.
    • Follow all Trip Leader instructions at all times - they're there to keep everyone safe.
    • Most importantly - smile and think to yourself, "How good is this?"

    Tag-Along Trip Protocols

    Please keep these guidelines in mind throughout the Tag-Along experience:

    • Be ready to assemble and depart at your scheduled group time (refer to your runsheet).
    • Line up according to your assigned group and follow the correct order.
    • Maintain visual contact with both the car in front and the one behind you.
    • Keep a safe speed and distance relative to other vehicles.
    • Remember - not everyone may have a UHF radio. If you see someone stuck or needing assistance, advise your Trip Leader immediately.
    • Listen carefully to all Trip Leader and assistant instructions for your safety and the safety of others.
