Motorama Vehicle Reviews 2019

Lots of excitement on the new car front at Motorama. We've had 11 new models to review and 2020 is already off to a flying start, so that promises another great year to come.

To make it easy for you, we've all gathered them all together right here!

FORD ENDURA

The shoes to fill were big. Drive around Queensland and you’ll still see plenty of Ford Territory’s driving around. It was a best seller. But all good things will come an end. Sometimes it’s for the better. This is definitely the case with the all-new Ford Endura. Not only is it stylish, it also drives comfortably, handles securely and has ample space to take it on a long road trip. Add this to a better fuel economy, smoother engine and the latest safety technology and you’ll see why the Endura has no issue taking its predecessors place.

MITSUBISHI TRITON

As one of the most popular utes in Australia the Mitsubishi Triton, which makes changes anything about it a big deal. So when Mitsubishi decided to give it a full make-over they knew the risks. But they did the right thing, because the 2019 Triton looks aggressive, had more road presence and a prouder, bolder stance. By keeping the same reliable and trusted engine customers know what they’ll get, while the added safety technology and upgraded suspensions make the new Triton not only safer, but also more comfortable to drive.

KIA CERATO HATCH

The Cerato is one of Kia's most popular vehicles, so after releasing the new sedan last year it's now up to the hatchback to show its face. It's been completely redesigned and like with its bigger brother, you get a whole lot of car with all the safety technology you need for a sharp price.

FORD FOCUS

When the director of Ford claimed that this is the ‘best vehicle we have ever made’ at the launch of the all-new fourth generation Focus, he definitely set the bar high. The hatchback – also available as station wagon – has been around for two decades and with over 16 million sold worldwide it’s an important car for the brand.

TOYOTA RAV4

As Toyota's first hybrid SUV the all-new RAV4 is a milestone. It's powerful and fuel efficient. The sharp edged design modern and stylish. And it comes with all the possible safety features. We explored the Cruiser to get all its insights.

TOYOTA HIACE

It took Toyota 15 years, but it was worth the wait: say hello to the all-new HiAce. With more power, more comfort and more technology plus improved safety features it's not just a step up - it's a jump. The design is definitely more modern as well, setting the van up for a run that might last well into the 2030's.

TOYOTA HILUX

After two years, Toyota has decided to give the latest iteration of it's best-selling ute a facelift. Nothing too dramatic - the Hilux is still a Hilux - fresher,  with amore  modern and sleek touch. The updated SR and SR5 models now have a new front end, styled by an Australian design team based in Port Melbourne. This bold new face mirrors that found on the top-end Rogue model that was launched last year.

NISSAN LEAF

The Nissan Leaf is the top-selling Electric Vehicle globally, which makes sense as the car has been around since 2010. Over 300,000 have been sold and now the next generation is here. The new 2019 Leaf has a modern look while its interior fit and finish convey an almost premium air. It’s also packed with infotainment and driver’s-assistance technology. And the most important: it's range is up from just 170km to 270km! Say goodbye to 'range-anxiety', because with the charging stations rolling out all over the country you'll be able to take the Leaf for a road trip without any hassle.

TOYOTA SUPRA

With the last Toyota Supra on sale in Australia 26 years ago any news regarding a reincarnation of the legendary sports car will get motoring enthusiasts excited. The long wait is finally over: the all-new fifth generation Toyota Supra is here and we've taken it to the streets!

CAMARO ZL1

Gerard Foster, the HSV Specialist at Motorama Holden, test drives the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and explored the supercharged V8.

KIA SORENTO BLACK EDITION
