Motorama Cool Culture

A Hospital patient Gail Nunyan received an unexpected surprise this week when she was given a $200 Family VIP Theme Park pass from a special team member from Motorama.

The gift was generously donated by employee Cameron Wilson, recent winner of Motorama's Cool Culture Award.  Cameron wanted to do something special in the hope that it might brighten up their day and put a smile on their face.

Gail, 26, was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer last year and has undergone numerous tests and many rounds of chemo and radiation and has recently been diagnosed with brain disease.

Having four young children under the age of six, the idea of going to a theme park was just a dream, due to the cost, but thanks to Cameron, Gail and her family will now be able to enjoy all the parks have to offer and create some wonderful lasting memories.

“I am very grateful for this lovely gift and I know the children will be so excited to go and have some fun, see the animals and go on the rides…Just to see them laugh and smile will be worth a million dollars. It will be a very special day for all of us,” Gail said.

After losing his own dad in August to cancer Cameron says it’s moments like this that make you think about what is important in life and how small things can help bring some happiness to a person’s life.

“Gail is such an inspiration and I wish her and her family all the best for a bright and positive future,” Cameron said.

“Thank you also to the PA Research Foundation for the wonderful work you do in raising funds for cancer research projects at the PA Hospital. Motorama are proud to be a part of the Support the Duck Stop Cancer campaign and help make a difference to those who have been diagnosed or living with cancer.”
