Each year, Toyota and Planet Ark’s National Tree Day provides us with an opportunity to engage with our local community to do something positive for the environment.
This year for National Tree Day, Motorama Toyota Moorooka joined St Joachims Catholic Primary School to plant a number of trees with the aim to provide future generations with an abundance of shade and green space.
The team from Motorama Toyota Moorooka had a great time seeing everyone, young and old, get involved in planting trees around the school, as well as enjoying a very Australian sausage sizzle. National Tree Day aims to inspire, educate and recruit Australians to actively care for our unique land and create future generations of committed environmental custodians.
Since 1996, National Tree Day have planted over 20 million seedlings, with over 1 million of those planted this year alone.
